Job summary

Peterson Health in Kerrville, Texas, is hiring a full-time Cath Lab RN for the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Interventional Radiology floor. The position entails four 10-hour shifts with call required, under physicians and management to ensure patient safety and quality care.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas RN license with BLS/ACLS and has at least 1 year of hospital CCU experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• Texas RN license with BLS and ACLS required
• 1 year of hospital Critical Care experience required
• Certification in CCRN or CVRN preferred

Responsibilities

• Cares for adult to geriatric patients in CCIR and Radiology; communicates with physicians on patient condition and care plans.
• Assists with equipment readiness, pre-procedure documentation, and patient positioning during procedures; participates in quality improvement activities.
