Job summary

Southeast Health is hiring an RN II for Invasive Cardiology (Cath Lab) to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. The role supports Medical/Surgical and Critical Care standards, serving adults to pediatrics in a dynamic cath lab environment.

Qualifications include an accredited nursing degree, current RN license, and English proficiency, with required ACLS/BLS and stroke protocol training. Windows PC skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the state.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• ACLS required or completed within 3 months of hire.
• BLS required.
• Institutional EKG training or equivalent course completed.
• Institutional Critical Care Course if no prior CC experience.
• Stroke requirements must be completed.
• Experience operating personal computers in a Windows environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• The Cath Lab RN II uses the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care provided to individuals in the Cath Lab.
• Actively accepts, understands, and practices appropriate standards of Medical/Surgical and Critical Care Nursing.
• Performs various activities related to the needs of adult, geriatric, and pediatric surgical patients in accordance with hospital policies.
