Job summary

Ascension in Panama City, FL invites a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Invasive Cardiology team on the day shift. You will assess, prepare and position patients for procedures, assist with conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring, and communicate patient status to physicians before, during and after procedures.

The role requires a Florida RN license and a nursing diploma, with BLS within 1 month of hire. Critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider credential within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date.
• Florida RN licensure obtained prior to hire date or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures.
• Communicate patient condition to physician before, during and after procedures.
• Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.
• Set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.
