Minimum qualifications include MA RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and 1 year of RN experience; BSN preferred. The role involves shift options, call requirements, and a pathway for career development within the hospital network.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Develops and evaluates the patient care plan.
• Delivers professional nursing care per physician orders.
• Educates patients and families about care plans.
• Assists in discharge planning and referrals.
• Supports and mentors new staff; precepts department staff.
• Participates in departmental committees as needed.
