Job summary

Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, CA, is seeking a Day Full Time Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver life-saving cardiac and peripheral care in our Chest Pain Center. You will perform advanced interventions in a state-of-the-art cath lab and contribute to over 2,500 procedures annually across two rooms, maintaining high-acuity standards.

To succeed, you must thrive in a fast-paced environment with elite clinical skills and a weekday/weekend on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of critical care experience within the last three years.
• Active RN license in California.
• BLS certification – American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association.
• Cardiac rhythms and basic hemodynamics training.
• Ability to wear lead aprons for extended periods.
• On-call availability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex cardiac and peripheral interventions in the Cath Lab.
• Contribute to a high-volume program across two labs.
• Participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotation.
• Plan, implement, evaluate and educate patients.
• Document accurately in the computerized system and mentor/Precept staff.
