Job summary

St. Peter’s Health Partners in New York seeks an RN for Samaritan Hospital Cath Lab, full-time day shift. You will join a team delivering cardiac catheterization services to residents of Rensselaer County and surrounding areas.

Requirements include current NYS RN license; ASN or BSN preferred and 1+ year acute care, cath lab or ICU experience; interventional radiology experience may be considered. Pay range is $40-$53.10 hourly, with exempt status and experience-based progression.

Qualifications

• Current NYS RN license.
• ASN or BSN preferred.
• One plus experience in acute care nursing; cath lab and/or ICU experience preferred; may consider RN’s with procedural experience in Interventional radiology.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of each patient and plan nursing care to meet those needs.
• Plan and coordinate nursing care including spiritual, emotional and physiological needs; lead supervised personnel as needed.
• Be directly accountable to the Nurse Manager for quality of patient care delivered.
• Modify and deliver care specific to patient age and unit scope of services.
• As charge, perform clinical and leadership functions and assess care plans.
