Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is part of BJC HealthCare in the St. Louis area, seeking a registered nurse for a 7:00 AM–7:30 PM shift in the Pre/Post Recovery unit. This role requires ED, ICU, or Cardiac experience and no call responsibilities; a minimum of 2 years nursing experience is preferred.

You will provide direct patient care, assess and plan, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate's degree required.
• RN licensure required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care with assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment home care needs.
• Promotes patient safety and regulatory compliance, and participates in professional development.
• Develops and documents individualized plans of care with the interprofessional team and patient/family.
