Job summary

St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho, is seeking an RN – Cath Lab to provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

The RN will perform patient assessments, prepare procedures, and monitor safety and quality outcomes. Candidates must have a nursing degree and relevant certifications. Positions available on an as-needed (PRN) basis, ensuring flexibility in work hours.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Minimum of two years clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure suite and gather necessary equipment.
• Conduct pre- and intra-procedure patient assessments.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, and prepping.
• Circulate, scrub, and monitor patients during procedures.
• Administer medications and oxygen under supervision.
• Participate in patient recovery and post-procedure handoffs.
