Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-level nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process. You will perform assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver direct and indirect patient care.

The role supports the hospital's mission and strives for clinical excellence. A BLS certification, Texas RN license (or eligibility), and 12 months RN experience are required, with day shifts and a 10x4 schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS).
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum 12 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment using communication, interpersonal relationships and teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for the nursing components of the patient/family/significant other education process.
• Communicates with the team, coworkers, patients and family members and evaluates understanding of information.

• Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
• Provides safe, accurate, and timely medication and IV administration.
