St. Luke’s Health - The Woodlands Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high‑quality patient care.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, execute skilled procedures, and implement individualized care plans within an interdisciplinary team in our busy hospital environment. The role requires an ADN, at least one year of RN experience, Texas RN licensure upon hire, CPR within 14 days, and ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) required.
• 1 year of RN experience preferred.
• Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements at hire.
• Registered Nurse in TX, upon hire.
• CPR (BLS) required within 14 days.
• ACLS required within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Assessment: admission and ongoing assessment of patient condition; provide nursing care addressing physical, psychological and spiritual needs; notify doctor of changes.
• Planning: design, direct, evaluate and document plan of care including patient/family teaching and discharge plans; collaborate with other disciplines.
• Implementation: prepare patients for treatments, reports changes to Charge Nurse/Team Leader or physician; follow safety protocols including med safety and orders.
• Evaluation: reassess patients after interventions; notify physician to modify interventions; adjust care to evolving needs.
• Report Skills: bedside shift report with family participation; provide accurate handoff to oncoming shift to ensure continuity of care.

• ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assessment: Does admission and ongoing assessment of patient’s condition. Provides nursing care to meet the patient’s physical, psychological and spiritual needs. Notifies doctor of changes in assessment that require attention.
• Planning: Designs, directs, evaluates, and documents the plan of care, patient/family teaching and the transition of care plan to include a safe appropriate level of care discharge. Works with other clinical disciplines to meet specialized patient care and discharge needs. Formulates a plan of care and daily goals that takes into consideration the individualized needs of the patient.
• Implementation: Prepares patients physically, psychologically, and spiritually for treatments, surgeries and diagnostic studies to help reduce patient anxiety. Knows patients' conditions and reports significant changes to Charge Nurse/Team Leader, and/or physician. Implements patient safety initiative and protocols including medication safety practices, physician orders, consult notifications.
• Evaluation: Reassesses patients at appropriate intervals following interventions. Notifies physician as necessary to modify interventions. Adjusts nursing care to meet patient's emerging and changing needs.
• Report Skills: Gives and receives report using Bedside Shift Report including family participation. Provides an accurate and comprehensive report to the oncoming shift to help establish continuity of patient care.

• Associate Dgree Nursing
• (1) year of RN experience
• Demonstrated competence in Registered Nurse I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire
• Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months

St. Luke’s Health - The Woodlands Hospital is a 245 bed facility serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. The hospital has been recognized as a Best Hospital by U.S. News & World Report, and is proud to serve as the clinical home for the Dan L Duncan Cancer Center. The hospital was awarded an “A” hospital safety grade by The Leapfrog Group in both 2023 and 2025. Clinical services provided include cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, women’s services (digital mammography and bone density studies), neurosciences, pediatric care (Newborn and Level III nurseries), surgery, pathology and pulmonary services, and sleep disorder services.

Pay Range

$35.45 - $55.36 /hour
