Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens Travel Nursing Job in Mission Hills, California
Advance your nursing career as a Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) in Mission Hills, CA 91345! This locum tenens travel nursing opportunity places you in a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in the heart of Southern California’s San Fernando Valley. Enjoy working with cutting-edge technology and a collaborative healthcare team while experiencing the vibrant Los Angeles area.
- Deliver direct patient care in the Cath Lab for adult and geriatric patients
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
- Monitor and administer procedural sedation
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
- Circulate and scrub for Cath Lab procedures
- Respond promptly to on-call shifts within 30 minutes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Document care using Epic EMR
- Maintain infection prevention and isolation protocols
- Complete orientation and required modules prior to assignment start
- Active California RN license (required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience
- ACLS certification
- LA City Fire Card (issued within last 30 days)
- Previous travel RN experience required
- Epic charting experience
- 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Ability to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year\'s Eve, New Year\'s Day)
- First-time travelers and pending licenses not accepted
- Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (06:30 - 17:00), 40 hours/week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2350-$2520
- On-Call: 5-6 shifts every 2 weeks, including every other weekend
- On-Call Response Time: 30 minutes
- Parking: Free on-site parking
- Assignment Dates: September 22, 2025 – December 22, 2025
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Scrub Color: Any color (L/D & OR provided)
