Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Akron, OH. The role focuses on caring for patients undergoing diagnostic or interventional cardiac procedures in a catheterization lab.

The RN will monitor vitals, assist with procedural medications, and collaborate with physicians, technicians, nurses, and patients to ensure safe, efficient care while meeting state and client requirements.

Qualificações

• Current RN license in the state you are working (OH).
• ACLS certification may be required by state/client contract.
• Minimum 2 years Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor patient vitals during diagnostic or interventional cardiac procedures in the cath lab.
• Assist with procedural medications, including sedatives, as required.
• Assist doctors, technicians, nurses and patients to ensure safe and efficient care in the cath lab.

The RN (Cath Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab) specializes in workingwith patients undergoing diagnostic or interventional cardiac procedures in acatheterization lab. During cardiaccatheterizations, these specially trained nurses assist the medical team bymonitoring the patient’s vitals, assisting with procedural medication includingsedatives, assisting doctors, technicians, nurses and the patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with a current license in the state theyare working




• ACLS may be required by state/client contract




• Minimum of 2 years Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred




• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice




• Current BLS




• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable




• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)




• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements




• Must be at least 18 years of age
