Job summary

You will work on a full-time evening schedule in the Cath Lab, with a focus on patient data collection, care planning, and family education. Current NY RN licensure and BLS are required, along with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Current Registered Nurse license in New York (RN) and BLS certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of organizational goals and quality performance improvement plans.
• Collect, assess, and document patient healthcare data.
• Involve patient/family and interdisciplinary team to identify a realistic and measurable plan of care.
• Prioritize care based on collected data.
• Document assessment and reassessment in medical records.
• Implement interventions in coordination of patient care safely and timely.
• Consider needs and behaviors of specific patient age and cultural groups in care activities.
• Educate the patient/family regarding health status and established plan of care.
• Evaluate the patient’s progress towards expected outcomes.
