Sanford Health in Aberdeen, SD is seeking a Cardiac Technologist to join our Heart and Vascular team. You will perform cardiovascular tests and procedures alongside physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology, RCIS credentials within 12 months, and ACLS/PALS if applicable. The role features a day shift, 40 hours weekly, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology or equivalent experience required.
• RCIS certification within 12 months is preferred.
• ACLS and PALS are preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs invasive cardiac, peripheral vascular diagnostic, interventional and EP procedures.
• Thoroughly understands cardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, and X-ray techniques.
• Understands pharmacologic options and their impact on tests.
• Operates imaging and EP equipment such as XR systems from GE, Siemens and Philips.
• Works with diverse patient populations and communicates effectively.
