Job summary

Northwest Medical Center is seeking a Cath Lab Technician to provide specialized support during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures. The role includes assisting physicians, operating equipment, maintaining sterile technique, and documenting data for clinical decisions.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment plans, monitoring patient status, ensuring safety, and collaborating with the healthcare team to maintain workflow and quality care during procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in cardiovascular or invasive procedures required.
• Licensure in CVT, CRT, or RN preferred or required as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians during cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique.
• Operates specialized cardiovascular equipment safely and monitors patient status throughout procedures.
• Records, calculates, and verifies data during procedures for physician review.
• Prepares procedural documentation, including treatment plans and results, per department requirements.
• Maintains a safe environment by following safety protocols and addressing patient condition changes.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure efficient workflow and timely communication.
