Job summary

Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado seeks a part-time CV Invasive Specialist II to support catheterization procedures in the cath lab. This role requires RCIS/RCES or equivalent; includes scrub, circulate, and procedural support; ongoing education and certification maintenance.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• PALS or ACLS certification; must obtain within 3 months if not current.
• RCIS/RCES/ARRT-CI/ARRT-VI or RN (RN experience accepted).
• Maintains at least 12 CME credits per year.
• Fluoroscopy Operator Certification as required by Colorado.
• Surgical Tech/Assistant Certification per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of CV Invasive Specialist II in cath lab with minimal supervision.
• Prepare procedure room and assist in post-procedure turnaround.
• Document hemodynamics, imaging, and procedural events accurately.
• Provide patient education and emotional support; maintain patient comfort.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor in diagnostic, interventional, and CRM procedures.
• Train staff as a defined preceptor and support ongoing skills development.
