An established industry player is seeking a dedicated manager for the cardiac catheterization lab and non-invasive cardiology. The manager for the cardiac catheterization and lab and non-invasive cardiology will work in collaboration with the senior director (immediate supervisor), cardiovascular medical staff leadership and departmental staff to meet the organization's goals for operational budgets, process improvement, and patient experience for the managers' respective departments.
The manager will assist with the development of the capital budgets and continually monitor the status of our existing equipment maintenance and reliability, and partner with our biomed department to assure patient safety at all times. This role will include oversight for staff development, updating and writing new policies, and assuring staff competency. As we roll out new programs, the manager will assist with all aspects of program development.
Oversight of charge entry and reconciliation on a daily basis will be a responsibility, and this role will be monitoring this along with the daily revenue reports. As part of the process improvement, the leader will participate in NCDR, and the STEMI collaborative and ad-hoc metrics as determined by the team. The supply chain management is a key function to this leadership role which includes our compliance to our GPO agreements.
Responsible for organizing, supervising, and directing the delivery of quality patient care and coordinating department-based activities. Supervises nursing and technical personnel on assigned unit/shift including interpreting department policies and procedures, participating in identification and investigation of problems. Facilitates change and executes initiatives to achieve top percentile performance in patient safety, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction rankings. Leads cooperation with the patient care team to maintain standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Complies with the California Nurse Practice Act, Article 2, Section 2725 of the Business and Professions Code.
