About the Opportunity

Shady Grove Medical Center – Adventist HealthCare is seeking an experienced Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology Technologist (CVIR) to embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with peers, physicians and support staff to deliver quality patient care and customer service.
  • Demonstrate initiative toward safety and risk management issues.
  • Assist Interventional Physicians in all CVIR procedures utilizing various interventional tools.
  • Maintain working knowledge of contrast administration/contraindications and plan for adverse reactions.
  • Provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Manage time efficiently, be punctual to work and to assignments per hospital standards.
  • Maintain schedule flexibility to accommodate patients and provide on‑call services during off hours.
  • Participate in new product evaluations and learn new procedures, sharing knowledge with peers.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT Accredited School of Radiography.
  • Minimum 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience (e.g., Radiology tech/Diagnostic Technologist).
  • Current ARRT Certification (RT‑R).
  • Maryland Board of Physicians Licensed Radiographer.
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification (ACLS within 1 year).

Pay Range

$37.17 – $55.76
