Qualifications

• ARRT-R and state licenses required.
• Experience in a Cardiovascular Lab and/or Interventional Radiology preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist by scrubbing procedures and/or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data in the cardiovascular lab.
• Certified to operate fluoro/pan with Fluoro CA license addendum.
• Ensure procedure room is prepared for the procedure.
• Monitor par level of instruments and supplies.
• Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities; train new staff.
• Assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
• Prepare power injector and contrast medium; injects contrast and monitors injector rates/quantity.
