Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking an Invasive Cardio Technologist - Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. This full-time role focuses on performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in a high-volume cath lab while delivering compassionate patient care.

You will work with state-of-the-art equipment in a Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Transplant Center, collaborating with cardiology, radiology, and nursing teams.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of allied health/cardiovascular technology.
• Nebraska State Radiographer license is required.
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) registration and ARRT licensure or RCIS within 6 months of hire or transfer date.
• ACLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification required from an AHA-endorsed program.
• Effective communication, initiative, teamwork and flexibility.
• Knowledge of proper body mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Utilize departmental resources to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac Cath lab.
• Assure that provided services meet cultural and age-related needs of the patient population.
• Collaborate with cardiology, radiology and nursing teams to deliver high-quality imaging.
• Maintain equipment and document procedures accurately.
