Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year Diagnostic radiology experience.
• Computer entry and word processing.

Responsibilities

• The Angio Tech provides health care services using medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients.
• Perform radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation and / or therapeutic intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
• The Angio Tech responds to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs based on all age groups.
