Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Washington state seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist with cath lab responsibilities. You will assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures under physician supervision, obtain radiographs, and help maintain sterile conditions in a dynamic cath lab.

The role requires completing a radiologic technology program, state licensure, BLS/ACLS, and relevant cardiovascular certifications; on-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Two-year invasive cardiovascular program.
• Formal Radiologic Technologist program completed.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist license on hire.
• Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification on hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification on hire.
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International CVIS on hire.
• BLS certification on hire.
• ACLS certification on hire.
• 1 year cath lab experience (preferred).
• 6 months imaging experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and open surgical procedures under physician supervision.
• Obtain optimal radiographs and support aseptic technique in the cath lab.
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of complex cardiovascular equipment and supplies and assist with their use.
• Be available for on-call shifts as necessary.
