Job summary

Texas Health is seeking a Clinical Educator to support Cath Lab/Procedural areas in a PRN capacity across the central region (Arlington Memorial, HEB, Denton, Alliance). The role focuses on designing and implementing education, onboarding, and competency development for nursing and allied disciplines.

The educator partners with leadership to deploy education system-wide, offers coaching, and ensures accreditation readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
1 year staff development or adult education experience is required.
3 years clinical experience including 2 years in the area of specialty or 2 years in the clinical education department is required.
RN status required upon hire.

Responsibilities

Designs and implements clinical skill/competency development solutions across units.
Develops onboarding programs, transition residency programs, and continuing education deployment.
Provides clinical coaching to staff to drive adoption of new tools and practices.
Serves as a clinical education consultant to management for assigned client groups and committees.
Maintains documentation for clinical competencies and accreditation readiness.
Engages with clinical teams and leadership to assess satisfaction and identify gaps.
