Job summary

Responsibilities include serving as a scrub assistant, preparing patients, and managing equipment. Ideal qualifications include completion of a cardiovascular training program and a registered certification within 12 months of hire. The role offers a full-time schedule with variable shifts.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited invasive cardiovascular technologist training program or equivalent education.
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Certificate within 12 months of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as scrub assistant or monitor for cardiology studies.
• Prepares and positions patients for procedures.
• Recognizes cardiac arrhythmias and alerts providers.

Skills

Ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias

Analytical abilities for hemodynamic calculations

Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment

Education

Completion of an accredited invasive cardiovascular technologist training program

Two years education in allied health science
