Qualifications

• Cath Lab clinical experience or prior Cath Lab employment is required.
• Education includes an Associate degree; Bachelor degree preferred.
• Licensing requirements include BLS and ACLS with RN/RT/RCIS/RCES/RCIS or PAR A certifications.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to policies for handling and removal of biohazardous materials and reports deficiencies.
• Maintains sterile field, proper positioning, and draping of patients during procedures.
• Operates equipment such as CSI, Angiojet, EKOS, rotoblater and manages supplies.
• Monitors patient status and communicates variances to physicians promptly.
