Job summary

Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant in Texas seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cath Holding area on a PRN basis. You will apply the nursing process and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead with professionalism, adapt to unit needs, and support organizational activities while upholding the profession's positive image. BLS within 30 days and ACLS within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact license with plan to obtain Texas license within 60 days.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
