Job summary

Parkland Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cath Lab/Electrophysiology team in Dallas. This full-time day shift position supports patient care delivery, assessment, and plan implementation using the nursing process.

A Texas RN license and BLS are required, with ICU/ED or Cath lab experience preferred. Responsibilities include patient advocacy, care coordination, on-call readiness, and staff precepting as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years of nursing experience required.
• Prefer experience in a critical care setting (ICU, ED) or Cath/EP Lab setting.
• Current Texas RN license or compact license required; BLS must be current.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patients, uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
• Coordinate care with the health care team and document care.
• May serve as preceptor or trainer for new staff or trainees.
• Participate in on-call rotations and ensure timely interventions.
• Deliver patient education and family training related to Cath Lab/Electrophysiology care.
• Maintain compliance with applicable rules, regulations and hospital policies.
