Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in construction equipment sales (Caterpillar equipment preferred).
• Territory management experience with excellent relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Sell Caterpillar construction equipment, rentals, and related services.
• Manage territory through strategic planning and execution.
• Build strong customer relationships with product knowledge and insight.
• Negotiate deals aligning customer needs with company goals.
• Maintain leads, opportunities, and account activities in Sales Link.
• Prepare quotes, contracts, and delivery records; deliver timely reports.
• Collaborate with factory representatives and Ohio Machinery departments.
• Apply professional sales techniques to overcome objections.
• Frequent on-site visits to jobsites and industrial sites with safety emphasis.
