Job summary

SodexoMagic is hiring a Catering Supervisor to oversee on-site food service operations at Wayne State University. You will coordinate daily activities of service staff across fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events, and cafes, under management direction, ensuring quality and safety.

You will support management, train employees, and work with customers to resolve issues while maintaining reliable shift attendance and a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related food-service or supervisory experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Open availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food operations and service staff on-site.
• Assist management with daily functions and employee oversight.
• Ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Facilitate training and orientation for new staff.
• Work with customers to ensure quality, service, and problem resolution.
