Job summary

Adamah seeks a part-time catering delivery assistant to load and unload food and equipment, transport to event locations, and assist with on-site setup. You will follow navigation and safety practices, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and verify items against delivery orders before leaving the kitchen and arriving at events.

You will communicate delivery schedules with chefs and managers, document logs, assist in the kitchen when not driving, know ordering software and menus, and help maintain

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Experience in catering, food service or delivery preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, load and unload catering equipment safely.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload catering equipment and food items.
• Deliver food and beverages to event locations in a timely manner.
• Set up catering equipment at event locations as needed.
• Follow navigation systems and road signs; drive safely.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report equipment or vehicle issues.
• Adhere to food safety standards during transportation and handling.
• Inspect and pack supplies for events; verify items against delivery orders.
• Communicate delivery schedules with Executive Chef, Catering Services Manager, National Culinary Director, COO, and clients.
• Document and maintain delivery logs; obtain client sign-off when required.
• Assist in kitchen and equipment cleaning when not driving.
• Use ordering software and review menus.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing needs and questions.
• Return leftover equipment and paperwork to the appropriate location after events.
• Assist with breakdown and inventory of delivery supplies.
