Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Full-time Catering Attendant for Florida Atlantic University. You will assemble, deliver, and serve food for events, maintain temperatures, and ensure a clean, safe kitchen and dining area.

Responsibilities include setting up displays, serving guests, returning items, and assisting with event wrap-up. A valid driver’s license and state permits may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license may be required; must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Arranges tables, decorations, and buffet displays according to standards.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly cleans the location after events are completed.
• Returns food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Stocks, cleans, and maintains the catering facility and equipment.
• Ensures guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
