SanTan Brewing Company is seeking a Catering Server - Bartender in Chandler, AZ, with future opportunity to Captain, joining our vibrant team in the East Valley. The role involves serving guests, bartending, and supporting special events at our Spirit House and Brewpub locations.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of catering or server/bartender experience, a positive attitude, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience as a server/bartender at a catering venue or catering company for at least 1 year.
• Able to understand BEOs and communicate with guests.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service to guests and ensure accurate order taking.
• Execute bar service and beverage preparation with attention to quality and safety.
• Uphold company policies and maintain a safe, positive work environment.
• Coordinate with kitchen and event staff to meet guest expectations.
• Follow all safety procedures and SOPs while delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Cross-train across SanTan venues and special events as needed.

Description

SanTan Brewing Company is looking for a Catering Server - Bartender with future opportunity to Captain by joining our team in Chandler, AZ.

Located in the Phoenix metro's East Valley, SanTan was founded in 2007 in downtown Chandler, where we continue to operate a 15-bbl brewery & restaurant in our original location. In 2013, we added a production facility with a 50-bbl brewhouse, where we package beer in both cans and draft. SanTan branched out into distilled spirits in 2017 and in 2019 expanded to include Spirit House; a cocktail-driven bar with a delicious food menu, lounge-like atmosphere and knowledgeable, approachable staff. A clear

departure from the standard craft cocktail bar, Spirit House aims to demystify the world of distilling and flavor pairing through friendly education and quality service. We're devoted to uncommon quality for everyday occasions and we are looking for eager, energetic and friendly team members who share our vision!

This position does comply with the Arizona Minimum Wage Tip Credit in accordance with AZ Statute 23-363(C): Industrial Commission of Arizona and tips weekly with hourly wage payouts bi-weekly.

Requirements

All employees are expected to:

• Have reliable transportation to and from approved off-site venues and work locations
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety and efficiency, constantly evaluating work practices in the spirit of "always improving."
• Communicate effectively and openly with team members
• Work in a kitchen/restaurant environment which may be loud, hot, crowded, or have wet/slippery floors
• Multi-task and follow standard operating procedures
• Bend, crawl, twist, turn, lift, kneel, climb ladders and stairs
• Stand for prolonged periods
• Wear the proper uniform for the duration of the shift.
• Work indoors and outdoors
• Regularly lift/carry objects (35 lbs.) repeatedly and safely above waist-level
• Occasionally move heavy objects (165 lbs.) with a hand-truck or pallet-jack
