This hybrid position combines basic food preparation with dishwashing, sanitation, and general kitchen support to ensure smooth and efficient operations during catering events. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with basic food preparation, including washing and cutting produce, portioning ingredients, and preparing items for catering events. - Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, trays, and other kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. - Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and healthy kitchen environment. - Stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties, including lifting and carrying supplies and equipment, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to support overall kitchen operations and assist in other duties as needed to ensure successful catering events.## QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Education: - Food handler certification is preferred Required Experience: - Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment - Experience in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards Preferred Experience: - Previous kitchen, food preparation, or dishwashing experience preferred Required Skills and Abilities: - Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures - Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties, including lifting and carrying supplies and equipment - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
