Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Catering Services Manager to lead all aspects of catering solutions and special events at the location. You will guide the catering team to execute events or delivery requests in line with customer expectations and service standards.

You will develop catering solutions, build client rapport, and ensure quality in event planning and execution, while leading staff and ensuring safety and compliance across all catering activities.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of experience.
• Management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in events, hospitality and catering preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Available to work event-based hours.
• Excellent communications skills required.
• Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.
• Lifting up to 50 lb. and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers' needs.
• Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport.
• Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events.
• Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event orders.
• Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients' needs.
• Train and lead catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed resulting in quality in final presentation.
• Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to team and ensure revenue/expenses/receivables reporting is accurate.
• Responsible for delivering food and labor targets.
• Responsible for execution of catering events of varied size and scope including staffing and management.
• Ensure accurate reporting of all catering related revenue, expenses, and receivables.
• Recruit, train, schedule and develop team members.
• Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies.
