Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring immediately for a full-time Catering Senior Captain at Eckerd College, Saint Petersburg, FL. The role supervises the Catering Department, prepares and serves food at functions under the Catering Director, and may drive a truck to deliver to events.

Qualifications

• Prior catering, supervisory, and customer service experience is required.
• A valid driver's license may be required and/or a valid food handler's permit/alcohol servers permit per state law.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Catering Department employees and assists in performance appraisals.
• Determines workload from catering orders and coordinates setup.
• Meets with function group leaders to discuss arrangements and changes.
• Assembles and delivers food and supplies to scheduled functions.
• Returns food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility and manages clean-up.
• Interacts with customers to resolve concerns and relay feedback to supervisor.
