Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Catering Services Manager in West Chester, PA to lead all catering solutions and special events. You will guide the catering team to meet customer expectations and service standards, delivering events from plan to execution.

The role requires experience in events/hospitality, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and ability to work event-based hours. You will also ensure safety and quality across catering operations and revenues.

• Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver catering solutions meeting customer needs.
• Maintain effective client and customer rapport.
• Deliver consistent event planning and execution quality.
• Coordinate delivery of prepared food and setup of events.
• Assist clients in planning events with creative solutions.
• Train and lead catering staff to uphold service standards.
• Provide Banquet Event Orders and ensure QA for all requests.
• Meet food and labor targets for events.
• Oversee execution of catering events of varying size and scope.
• Ensure accurate reporting of catering revenue, expenses and receivables.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members.
• Ensure compliance with food, occupational and environmental safety policies.

Job Description

The Catering Services Manager is a leadership position which leads all aspects of catering solutions and special events at the location. This position will lead the Catering team to complete events or catering delivery requests in line with customer expectations and service standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers’ needs
• Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
• Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events
• Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event orders
• Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients’ needs
• Train and lead catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation
• Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to team and provide quality assurance all requests are met prior to event
• Responsible for delivering food and labor targets
• Responsible for execution of catering events of varied size and scope including staffing and management
• Ensure accurate reporting of all catering related revenue, expenses, and receivables
• Recruit, train, schedule and develop team members
• Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies
