Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring a Catering Manager to oversee the Catering Department, train associates, coordinate event setups, and direct temporary staff during events. You will ensure high-quality service and proper setup, cleaning, and breakdown procedures for client events.

Responsibilities include supervising events, managing logistics, working with the Chef on menus, training staff, and tracking labor and food costs while maintaining excellent client relations

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service experience, including 1 year at the management level.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Catering experience is required.
• Some knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills.
• Proficient computer skills and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).
• ServSafe Certification.

Job Summary

Summary: As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Catering Department in all duties including training new associates, overseeing event set-ups, and directing any temporary personnel in addition to their everyday assignments. • Assists in the responsibility for all foodservice-related activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
