Job summary

Bon Appetit Management Company is seeking a Catering Manager to oversee the Catering Department, train associates, manage event setups, and direct temporary staff alongside daily operations.

You will ensure excellent service during events, supervise setup, cleaning, breakdown, and work with the Chef to craft menus while monitoring labor and food costs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service experience including 1 year at the management level.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Catering experience is required.
• Some knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
• ServSafe Certification.

• Assists in the responsibility for all foodservice-related activities.

Job Summary
