Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years minimum operational experience in a hotel/banquet setting.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise catering operations including staff coordination, setup, service and breakdown for events of varying size.
• Book events, select and cost menu items, and assist with pricing as needed.
• Assist with hiring, discipline, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate activities with internal departments and vendors; participate in management meetings.
• Represent Aramark and the client at meetings and events and manage external relations.
• Ensure sanitation, organization and safety standards through checklists and supervision.
• Participate in catering training programs and help develop training for hourly, part-time and student staff.
• Support implementation of Aramark OpX Catering initiatives and guidelines.
