Job summary

Lorain County Community College invites applications for part-time servers and bartenders to support catering operations in the Spitzer Conference Center in Elyria, Ohio. The Food Service Specialist will deliver exceptional guest service during catered events, including setup, service, and breakdown.

Flexible evenings and weekends are required; duties may include cashiering, dishwashing, and some food preparation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years experience in a conference center or banquet facility.
• Experience as a shift lead.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces and service stations for catered events.
• Provide food and beverage service, attend buffets and stations, and assist with event breakdown.
• Cashiering, dishwashing and some food preparation as needed.
