Wedgewood Weddings is seeking a part‑time Catering Driver & Prep Cook in Charlotte, NC. You will drive between our kitchen and venue, assist with loading/unloading, and assist with food prep and on-site service to ensure guests have an excellent experience.

Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required, with opportunities to grow into kitchen leadership as you gain experience in a fast-paced venue environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be 21 or older and pass MVR review.
• 2+ years verifiable experience driving a similar commercial vehicle.
• Comfortable lifting and transporting food and supplies.
• Bonus points for food service, catering, or kitchen prep experience.
• Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive prepared food and catering equipment safely between our kitchen and our venue
• Load, unload, and set up so events run without a hitch
• Jump into food prep and kitchen support alongside the service team
• Help execute food service on-site with an eye for guest experience and presentation
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Work hand-in-hand with culinary and event teams to pull off great events
• Handle post-service breakdown: dishes, cleaning, the works
• Return the vehicle and equipment at the end of your shift, ready for the next one

This role is part road trip, part kitchen hustle. You're on the move, then hands‑on — driving one moment, jumping into set up and service the next. If you like variety in your day and don't mind switching gears, this is your lane.
