Job summary

City Barbeque in Charlotte, NC is seeking friendly catering associates for events at our Matthews location (1514 Galleria Blvd). This part-time role offers a flexible schedule, opportunities to earn tips, and involvement from simple deliveries to full-service catering for weddings and corporate events.

You must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Hours vary with bookings; peak season runs April–December.

Qualifications

• Have your own reliable transportation to deliver catering orders.
• Pass a Motor Vehicle Background Check.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have proof of insurance.
• Ability to lift catering bags or hot boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Part-time hours; schedule varies with bookings.

Responsibilities

• Friendly and courteous to clients and teammates.
• Transport all food and supplies for catered functions to various locations.
• Complete food drops, set and go deliveries, full service events, and weekend events.
• Set up tables, action stations, and decorations.
• Serve food and beverages to guests during full service events.
• Maintain knowledge of complete menu and products on hand.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
