Job summary

Parkhurst Dining is seeking a Catering Delivery Driver to support events with timely delivery and setup. Mileage reimbursement is provided and a valid driver’s license is required to operate company vehicles.

The role involves transporting food and equipment, coordinating with the catering team, and ensuring food safety and quality from pickup to service at events. Candidates should be prepared for a physically active environment.

Qualifications

• Standing and/or walking for 100% of the time.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Frequently lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance, fueling, upkeep and cleanliness.
• Pick up food from catering kitchen, verify each item matches the BEO, check quality, quantity and temperature; pack items for safe transport.
• Transport food and equipment for events between storage, kitchen, drop-off points and event spaces.
• Ensure timely delivery, setup and pickup of catering setups and services.
• Return all usable food to the kitchen and store properly.

The pay rate for this position starts at $17 / hour. This position is reimbursed for mileage and a driver's license is required.
