Culinaire, a Compass Group USA company, seeks a Catering Coordinator to manage sales, administration, and coordination for on- and off-premise events. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and multi-tasking across numerous event projects.

The position involves preparing proposals, organizing staff and equipment, and supporting marketing efforts to drive sales and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining, catering and/or events.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as the business demands.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Marketing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Input and maintain all reserve data for events, including inquiries and tentative/definite bookings.
• Create captain’s packets with staff and equipment details for each event.
• Prepare buffet signage and printed menus for events.
• Maintain organized event files and correspondence, orders, invoices, and proposals.
• Process insurance certificates and client information for events.
• Prepare event proposals and staff requisitions; support sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with marketing on materials and promotions; assist client walkthroughs.
