Fairmont Orchid on Hawai‘i Island is seeking an organized administrative professional to implement systems, manage records, and serve as the go-to information source for the team. You will handle inquiries, produce documents, and support managers with daily operations in a luxury resort setting.

The role is on-site with a competitive hourly rate. You’ll join a collaborative hospitality team and contribute to a memorable guest experience while enjoying resort benefits and staff amenities.

Job Description

• Organize and implement administrative systems & procedures, and perform necessary support duties
• Serve as a principal source of information for the team
• Prepare and maintain your department’s records
• Effectively respond to general inquiries and direct/handle them appropriately
• General Document production and distribution; to include but not limited to contracts, amenity requests, turnover letters, banquet event orders, group resumes, daily event boards etc. Additional responsibilities, as outlined by Director, Assistant Director or Managers

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple interests
• Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion
• Competency using a variety of computer software’s
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and relevant computer applications required

Schedule

Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including overnight, weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.
