Sun Country Airlines in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a full-time Catering/Commissary Driver on an initial schedule 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Thursday through Monday. The role delivers to aircraft, verifies flight documentation, and supports ramp operations.

Catering/Commissary Driver Overview:

The catering driver position prepares and delivers assigned products to aircraft and retrieves spent carts. Responsibilities include: 1) Verifying flight documentation to ensure correct items are loaded before heading to ramp, 2) Interacting with Customer Service team members to identify and resolve problems, 3) Complying with standard operating procedures regarding driving, positioning the unit at the planes, securing the work platform, and loading and unloading carts on and off the planes.

• Proficiency driving lift trucks. Ability to drive and maneuver catering truck to rear of the aircraft and raise box of catering truck to the aircraft.

• Ability to service international and domestic charter and scheduled flights
• Relay information to supervisor on any interruption to normally scheduled assigned service to planes and work together on solutions and alternatives
• Put delivered supplies in appropriate area
• Maintain cleanliness of workspace
• Other duties as assigned

This job operates both indoors and outdoors. When working indoors, this position will be working in a warehouse environment. While working outdoors, the employee will be exposed to various weather (such as rain, sleet, snow) and hot and cold weather. While working outside, the employee might work during the day or night. In addition, this position is exposed to loud noises from arriving and departing planes.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands or finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee will frequently push or pull carts weighing up to 200 pounds. The employee is required to frequently work at heights around fifteen (15) feet. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, low light and nighttime vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The employee must be able to obtain an MSP SIDA Badge and customs seal.

Initial Schedule: 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM - Thursdays through Mondays. Shift availability and minimum shift requirements are subject to change due to business needs.
