Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is seeking a Catering Coordinator at Seattle University. This full-time role involves coordinating catering staff, preparing and serving food, and ensuring timely delivery of functions under the guidance of the Catering Director.
Candidates should have at least one year of administrative experience or event planning/sales knowledge, along with customer service skills. We offer competitive pay ranging from $29 to $31 per hour, along with various benefits for full-time associates.
Seattle University, 901 12th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122. Full time schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Pay range $29.00 per hour to $31.00 per hour. Applications are accepted online only.
Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure all functions are delivered, served and cleared in a timely fashion. Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the Catering Director. May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.

Because this position requires you to perform services in an educational facility, there may be periods when the Company does not require you to perform work (such as winter and summer breaks when food service needs decline or cease). Any such periods during which you do not perform work on the Company’s behalf may be unpaid and deemed a temporary layoff. However, depending on business needs, you may be required to work year‑round, potentially at a different location during break periods. Business needs may vary from year to year.
