Essential Job Functions

• Performs bartending duties at events.
• Leads in the execution of all events including the ability to organize, execute, and breakdown events.
• Works closely with other members of the department to maintain event fluidity.
• Loads and unloads catering vehicles for campus events.
• Maintains all sanitation and appropriate food safety standards established by the university.
• Maintains the proper storage and rotation of ready-made food products complying with appropriate food safety standards.
• Understands seating floorplans and banquet event orders (BEO) per specific request.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience working in culinary, food service, hospitality, or other related experience.
• Obtain and maintain food safety managers certification approved by conference for food protection.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Obtain and maintain an alcohol certification (TIPS or STOP).
• Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.
