Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is seeking staff to deliver and serve food at catered events under the supervision of the catering captain. You will set up and serve at functions, maintain cleanliness, and ensure accurate execution of events during your shift.

May drive a catering delivery truck and return leftover food and equipment promptly. Requirements include a valid driver's license and food handler’s permit where required by state law.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and/or ability to obtain a food handler’s permit where required by state law.
• Ability to assemble, deliver and set up catering functions.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Arranges buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Cleans location after event is completed.
• Returns food, beverages, equipment and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Stocks, cleans and maintains catering facility and equipment.
• Ensures guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Maintains knowledge of complete menu and products on hand.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
