Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is seeking a part‑time catering teammate in Winona, MN. The role delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision, may drive a catering delivery truck, and assists with setup, service, and cleanup of event areas.

The position requires driving privileges, a valid food handler’s permit if required by state law, and a commitment to safe, courteous service. Training and development opportunities are available along with a benefits program.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (may be required).
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Arrange tables and decorations.
• Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly clean location after event is completed.
• Return food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility.
• Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Stock, clean and maintain catering facility and equipment.
• Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Location: 175 W Mark Street, 220 Kryzsko Commons, Winona, MN 55987 (Winona State University, Campus).

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour (part‑time).

Job Summary

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures the accurate execution of all events during shift. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up, serves and cleans event area, returns leftovers to the catering facility.
